Inconel DIN 2.4816 Bars and Rods are composed primarily of Nickel (Ni) 72-76%, with Chromium (Cr) 14-17%, and Iron (Fe) 6-10%. The alloy also contains small amounts of other elements, including Manganese (Mn) 1.0%, Silicon (Si) 0.5%, Carbon (C) 0.15%, and Copper (Cu) 0.5%. These elements are carefully balanced to provide exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in high-temperature environments. The high nickel content imparts excellent strength and toughness, while chromium contributes to oxidation resistance. Inconel 600 also contains trace amounts of other metals like titanium and aluminum, enhancing its overall performance.
