Nimish Metals, headquartered in Safat, Kuwait, is a leader in the design and supply of quality metal products. It manufactures and supplies bars and rods from a wide variety of alloys and materials. Among them, Invar 42 bar and rod, which is low-expansion alloy with excellent stability of dimensions against thermal expansion, has excellent dimensional stability. Invar 42 can be used for high-precision applications in industries such as aerospace, electronics, and automotive. Nimish Metals is known for its reliability and excellence, which makes sure that all of its Invar 42 products have met the standards. It delivers precision and performance in every piece.
Invar 42 bar and rod is an alloy containing low expansion largely composed of 42% nickel and iron, with the presence of less amount of manganese at 1.2%, silicon at 0.5%, carbon at 0.05%, and traces of other elements. The alloy presents exceptional dimensional stability and low thermal expansion. This is an alloy that’s used in high-precision applications. Tensile strength: about 600-850 MPa. It has a yield strength that is, on average, about 250-450 MPa. The elongation is approximately around 25-35%, which possesses good machinability and weldability. CTE is estimated as about 1.3 x 10^-6/°C; the material could very well withstand some temperature cycles within the use environments.

Yes, laser welding can be used for Invar 42 bars. Its low thermal expansion properties make it suitable for precision welding, though attention is needed to manage heat input and distortion.
Yes, Invar 36 bar and rod can be welded, but it requires special care due to its low expansion properties. Proper welding techniques, such as TIG or MIG, are recommended.
Yes, specific welding consumables for Invar 36 bar and rod include Invar 36 electrodes, TIG rods, and MIG wires. These materials ensure proper fusion and minimize thermal expansion issues during welding.
Invar 42 Bar and Rod is a very low coefficient of thermal expansion composition of iron that contains about 42% nickel. It is excellent for applications that require dimensional stability under changing temperatures. It is utilized in precision instruments, such as temperature control devices, thermostats, and measuring tapes. Invar 42 is also used in the aerospace industry for components that need tight tolerances, like structural parts in aircraft and spacecraft. It is also used in electronic components, like transformers and sensors, where minimal expansion or contraction is needed for consistent performance.
